Full Job Description
Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Director, Account Manager based out of our San Francisco, California office.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • You will be responsible for growing the Fitch Solutions business by delivering our value proposition effectively through a consultative sale approach.
  • Build strong relationships with Buy-Side institutions including Pension Funds to grow revenue and identify opportunities for Fitch Solutions that include:
  • Credit Research, Investment Recommendations, and Fixed Income Data Services across all Fixed Income asset types, including Investment Grade, High Yield, Structured Finance, and Loans.
  • Credit Risk Solutions helping clients better understand and manage risk.
  • Industry and Country Macro Research and Data
  • Sustainability Across Securities, Entities, and Countries
  • Navigating the client renewal process and driving cross-sell and upsell subscription sales including:
  • Leading contract negotiations and ensuring favorable terms that align with company goals while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Directing end to end relationship management across the firm to drive engagement of all products through strategic relationship building, and coordinating with Customer Success Managers, Client Services, and Specialists.
  • Engage in territory and account planning, including organizational hierarchy and mapping, using available data to develop informed strategies.


You May be a Good Fit if:
  • General knowledge of financial services and capital markets with a focus on fixed income preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field, laying the educational foundation for excellence in financial markets.
  • It is essential that you have 5+ years of sales/business development experience, with a track record of growing revenue streams within financial markets.
  • Ability to develop an extensive network of contacts across your accounts at the senior executive level, procurement level, and business user level.
  • You must be self-motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance, while having excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written (PowerPoint a plus)
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills are essential.
  • Travel: 25% Travel

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $120,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
