Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced
DevOps / Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Linux administration, networking, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable, scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure and deployment of pipelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Manage and support Kubernetes/EKS clusters and containerized workloads using Docker.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployments, and operational processes.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or equivalent tools.
- Implement Descopes practices throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle.
- Integrate and manage security tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, vulnerability scanners, and secrets-management solutions.
- Perform security patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration hardening.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, infrastructure issues, deployment failures, and performance problems.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventive action planning.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
Education & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent are preferred.
- 3-7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and networking concepts.
