Description
SAIC is seeking a Data Configuration Manager to support Space Systems Command's (SSC) Space Combat Power Group. You will develop and maintain the program-level Data Artifacts, establish disciplined data-management processes for repositories, file control, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables. This position is based in El Segundo, CA, and focuses on directly supporting the Space Systems Command's (SSC) Space Combat Power Program Office.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the program data management focal point by establishing and maintaining structured repositories, folder structures, naming conventions, permissions, version control, and archival practices for program documentation and technical data.
Develop and enforce data management controls to ensure program files are organized, current, accessible, traceable, and compliant with program, contractual, security, and records-management requirements.
Manage CDRL workflows, including delivery schedules, submission tracking, receipt, review coordination, comment adjudication, acceptance status, version history, and repository control to ensure contractual deliverables are processed on time.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors and ten (10) years or more, Masters and eight (8) years or more, of relevant experience in program data management, configuration management or related Department of Defense (DoD) program support.
Experience establishing document repositories and implementing disciplined file management, version control, workflow, and process-control practices for program data and contractual deliverables.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and process-management skills with the ability to manage data repositories, deliverables, dependencies, and workflows.
Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and rolled in the Continuous Vetting program (if applicable).
Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs and consent to a polygraph examination (as required).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD acquisition program and Programs of Record within the DoW and more specifically, Space Systems Command.
Experience managing CDRLs, Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), deliverable review workflows, data-call tracking, records management, and configuration or document control processes within a DoD program environment.
Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with demonstrated ability to convert complex program information into concise, polished products for technical teams, Program Managers, and senior leadership.
Digital Engineering: Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and how Configuration/Data Management evolves within a digital thread.
Basic knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence or similar Tools).
Target salary range: $140,001 - $180,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
