Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with doctors and nurses to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain CT equipment and comply with safety regulations.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist - New Graduates are Encouraged to Apply! Pay Range: $41.00 – $55.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift

 

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols. Working collaboratively with Radiologists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the CT Technologist produces high-quality diagnostic images, ensures patient safety and comfort, and accurately processes and transmits images through the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations using established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following ALARA radiation safety principles.
  • Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain relevant clinical history.
  • Process and transmit images through PACS and document procedures in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain CT equipment and a safe, compliant imaging environment.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, infection prevention, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred. 2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required. 3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required. 4. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT. 5. Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 6. Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required. 7.
