Cyber Data Scientist & Enablement Analyst to join team Nyla in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role is ideal for a Data Scientist who possesses strong foundational analyst skills and operational experience. You will drive big data aggregation, access discovery, and technical enablement while building automated analytics and metrics tracking tools to power mission operations.
The annual base salary range for this role is $124,000-$146,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Data Science & Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Big Data aggregation, Pandas DataFrame manipulation, and continuous operational metrics tracking.
- Operational Analytics Tools: Hands-on experience navigating and querying within XKS and DX environments.
- Access Discovery & Mission Experience: Practical experience with NESCAA TFO and target access discovery/enablement methodologies.
- Python & Notebook Development: High proficiency in Python scripting for operational automation, along with expertise in building structured Jupyter Notebooks.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management, PLUS
7+ years of professional systems engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
11+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and architecture experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsBig Data & Analytics Engines: PySpark proficiency for distributed big data processing and analysis.
Domain Background: Prior Computer Network Operations (CNO) experience and Signals Development (SIGDEV) background.
Software Development & Mobile: Familiarity with C++ development and mobile application characterization/traffic analysis.
