Hogan Lovells Cadwalader's DC office is seeking a highly motivated junior tax associate with Big 4 experience to join its dynamic and growing tax practice. Ideal candidates will have transactional tax, M&A or international tax experience from a Big Four national tax practice or the IRS National Office. Candidates with 3-5 years' experience are preferred.
The tax associate will work on a range of sophisticated corporate, partnership, and international tax matters in connection with M&A, tax planning, investment funds and other transactional work, both for domestic and cross-border matters. Successful candidates will possess outstanding analytical, research and writing skills, strong academic credentials, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence and client service.
Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s tax practice is known for its collaborative, collegial culture and commitment to professional development. Associates work closely with experienced senior associates, counsel, and partners across offices who provide meaningful mentorship, training, and opportunities for advancement while advising clients on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market.
The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $365,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
