I Can Succeed as a Core Operations Manager - Accounting Distribution & Pricing Team (ADAPT)

Core Operations provides global middle- and back-office capabilities that support Capital Group’s investment process, client service model, and long-term growth. Our teams enable investment products and client accounts across onboarding, servicing, cash activity, investment data, trade operations, fund accounting, NAV operations, tax, reconciliation, and related capabilities.

As a Core Operations Accounting Distribution & Pricing Team (ADAPT) Manager, you will oversee fund accounting trade flow, expenses, distribution, and net asset value (NAV) generation in both an insourced and outsourced model. You will also help lead through portfolio and market activities, new fund launches, and non-standard events when they impact these capabilities — translating requirements, risks, options, and trade-offs across internal teams and outsourced providers to align on practical solutions.

Please note, this position does require you to work in our Irvine office, Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work remote on Fridays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, asset management, financial services operations, or a related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including developing talent and leading teams through change, transformation, or large-scale initiatives.
• Experienced in fund accounting; oversight of an outsourced provider performing fund accounting, public accounting, or a CPA license is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively across functional groups to align on shared outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to stay current on industry trends and best practices, applying those insights to improve service quality and operating effectiveness.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $159,354-$254,966

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
