About the RoleDorsia is seeking a
Copywriter to shape the words members encounter at every touchpoint, from the first push notification to the invitation for a one-night-only dinner. Sitting on the Creative Team, the Copywriter will write across lifecycle email, in-app surfaces, push, social, newsletters, and partner and event collateral, holding every line to the editorial standard behind Dorsia's brand storytelling. As our membership and Culture Calendar expand across 26 cities, the volume and range of copy is growing fast.
The Copywriter will build and run the agentic writing systems that carry one editorial voice across every channel at that scale, owning the voice context, agent workflows, and review loops that keep output quick and unmistakably Dorsia.
What You'll DoLifecycle and Product Copy- Write lifecycle emails and push notifications across the full member journey, from welcome and onboarding through re-engagement.
- Write in-app copy for screens, flows, modals, banners, empty states, error messages, and microcopy, editing directly in Figma with Design and Product.
- Compose transactional messages such as booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, and receipts with precision and a consistent brand voice.
- Craft subject lines, preheaders, headlines, and CTAs that are concise, specific, and tuned to each channel.
- Orchestrate agents that generate, test, and iterate subject line, push, and in-app variants at scale, feeding performance data back into each new round.
Editorial, Social, and Partnerships- Write and edit newsletters and recurring editorial features with the craft of published content.
- Write organic social captions and headlines that carry Dorsia's editorial point of view.
- Produce copy for event invitations and collateral, partner communications, and website pages.
- Write co-branded copy for restaurant and brand partners that honors each partner and stays unmistakably Dorsia.
- Pitch content ideas across channels and bring a sharp point of view to creative brainstorms.
Brand Voice and Collaboration- Turn briefs from Marketing, Product, Design, Partnerships, and Events into clear, on-brand copy, with sound reasoning behind every choice.
- Present work in regular creative reviews with internal and external stakeholders and fold feedback into the next draft.
- Evolve the tone of voice guide, copy templates, and approved language as the brand expands into new cities and categories.
- Encode the voice guide and approved language into agent context and automated review checks so every draft ships on voice before it reaches an editor.
- Own final proofreading and QA across channels, confirming accuracy, consistency, and correct rendering before anything goes live.
The Winning Recipe- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in copywriting, editorial, or brand writing, ideally across both digital product and content channels.
- A portfolio that shows range across short and long form, functional and editorial copy, along with a proven ability to hold an established brand voice while shifting register from push notifications to newsletters.
- Hands-on fluency building and running agentic writing workflows, including multi-step agent pipelines, brand voice context, and evaluation loops that hold agent-drafted copy to an editorial standard.
- Working knowledge of Figma, Notion, and lifecycle and content management platforms.
- Meticulous attention to detail, steady judgment across a high volume of quick-turn and long-lead requests, and the confidence to defend a copy choice with clear reasoning.
- A real appetite for restaurants, dining, and cultural programming, and a refined ear for luxury hospitality.
- Experience in hospitality, food, culture, fashion, or luxury brand communications, a background in UX writing, or time at a publication with a defined editorial voice is a plus.
