TikTok LIVE is a core part of TikTok's ecosystem, focused on building real-time, interactive experiences that connect creators, users, and communities at scale. The business aims to foster a healthy and sustainable live content ecosystem by empowering creators, enhancing user engagement, and enabling meaningful interactions through diverse live content formats. Our global team operates in a highly cross-functional environment, working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Policy, and regional market teams. Key focus areas include creator growth and support, live content strategy and operations, user engagement and retention, platform governance, and scalable operational execution. The team combines global vision with strong localization capabilities to adapt strategies to different markets while maintaining consistent platform standards. You'll drive high-impact initiatives across content strategy, vertical operations, and creator ecosystem growth, directly shaping platform engagement and business outcomes. Responsibilities 1. Own Vertical Strategy & Operations Own the growth strategy and operational performance of assigned content verticals by identifying ecosystem opportunities, optimizing content supply, and driving sustainable business growth. 2. Develop Content & Growth Strategies Design and execute scalable content strategies based on creator lifecycle, content performance, user behaviors, and market dynamics to improve ecosystem quality and platform engagement. 3. Leverage Data to Drive Business Decisions Analyze business performance across creators, content, and user metrics to identify growth opportunities, evaluate operational effectiveness, and translate insights into actionable strategies. 4. Lead Strategic Programs Develop and execute strategic initiatives, campaigns, and operational frameworks that improve creator growth, content quality, monetization, and long-term ecosystem health. 5. Build Vertical Expertise Become the subject matter expert for assigned content verticals by staying close to industry trends, creator behaviors, and competitive landscapes, and applying insights to operational strategy. 6. Drive Cross-functional Execution Partner closely with Product, Data Science, Engineering, Marketing, Policy, and regional teams to influence product improvements, operational priorities, and business outcomes. 7. Measure Business Impact Define success metrics, monitor business performance, and continuously optimize strategies through experimentation and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree with proven years of experience in Content Strategy, Vertical Operations, Growth Strategy, Creator Operations, or Content Monetization. 2. Experience owning or supporting content verticals, creator ecosystems, or category operations, with a strong understanding of content supply, creator growth, and ecosystem development. 3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative insights to identify business opportunities and influence strategic decisions. 4. Demonstrated business acumen with experience balancing content quality, user engagement, creator growth, and business performance. 5. Excellent stakeholder management and project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience in livestreaming, creator economy, digital media, entertainment, or social platforms, with a strong understanding of content ecosystems and creator trends. 2. Experience developing vertical strategies, content strategies, or growth initiatives backed by data analysis and measurable business impact. 3. Strong understanding of content recommendation, user engagement, monetization, and ecosystem health metrics. 4. Experience translating successful creator or content cases into scalable operational frameworks and best practices. 5. Passion for TikTok Live, digital content, and the evolving creator economy.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $103360 - $273600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
