The Construction Supervisor - Electrical offers an opportunity to elevate your electrical career while working on some of the most technically advanced, mission-critical data center projects in the industry. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee electrical construction activities involving medium-voltage systems, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), and critical power distribution infrastructure that supports high-performance computing environments. You will lead field crews, coordinate across trades, and ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with NEC and project requirements. If you are an experienced electrical professional ready to expand your leadership responsibilities and take on complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, this role places you at the forefront of sustainable, high-performance infrastructure development.

Job requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician License
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with proven experience working on medium voltage systems, switchgears, and motor control centers (MCCs).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical plans, and blueprints.
  • Exceptional supervisory and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with managers, peers, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Proficient in applying local electrical codes and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Valid state driver's license required.


Other important requirements:
  • Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
  • Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
  • Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.


Job responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment by administering and adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
  • Delegate and perform work based on blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, and verbal instructions; organize assigned tasks from start to finish.
  • Supervise all activities of electricians and apprentices to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues by installing or replacing wiring, devices, and components in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct routine jobsite inspections and evaluate the performance of the electrical team.
  • Communicate clearly with other trades, team members, subcontractors, and customers regarding job progress, needs, and concerns.

Compensation
  • The expected hourly range for this role is $59.00 U SD.
    • Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications.
  • Per Diem amount of $155.00 and project allowance, when applicable
  • 15% night-shift premium for eligible roles, when applicable
  • Overtime compensation for non-exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per week
  • Relocation and Living-out-allowance (as applicable and based on successful candidate circumstances)
