Qualifications

• 7-10 years in industrial refrigeration construction, particularly ammonia systems
• 3+ years in a supervisory role or as a superintendent
• Deep understanding of piping systems, welding, compressors, and cold storage standards
• Capable of interpreting blueprints and technical specifications
• Knowledge of IIAR standards and pressure testing methods
• RETA 1 & 2 and Universal EPA certification preferred; must be willing to obtain
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; must be willing to acquire that as well
• Excellent communication skills for client and crew interactions
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling tasks
• Valid driver's license with a clear record
• Physically fit to lift 50 lbs and work in elevated or confined spaces
• Ability to adapt to extended shifts and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew adherence to CIMCO safety and quality protocols
• Collaborate with senior management to maintain adequate staffing for projects
• Facilitate daily communication among customers, management, and subcontractors
• Plan and coordinate timely material and equipment deliveries
• Inventory and document material and equipment receipts, addressing discrepancies promptly
• Create detailed weld maps for all installed piping
• Submit weekly timesheets for field personnel and rig welders
• Lead daily coordination meetings and offer technical support
• Maintain accurate field documentation and the condition of CIMCO vehicles and tool transit trailers
• Ensure compliance with project documentation such as drawings and RFIs
• Provide quality as-built drawings upon project completion
• Participate in material estimation and rental equipment identification
• Help develop 3-week look-ahead schedules and crane pick plans considering safety requirements.
