Commercial Attorney Represented Casualty Examiner  

Salary: Starting at $88,663 - $108,650, commensurate with experience and location

** This position is an in office position in Richardson, TX with hybrid remote/in-office potential **

We are looking for experienced service-oriented professionals to join Commercial Attorney Represented Casualty Team! As a Commercial Examiner, you will continue to apply your technical and procedural knowledge to resolve claims. You will work closely with your fellow associates and supervisor to promptly investigate claims and provide outstanding service to our customers!

In this fast-paced environment, you will:

  • Conduct investigations to determine policy coverage and liability

  • Evaluate, negotiate, and settle third party injury claims

  • Maintain a pending diary of claims, which you will work through settlement and resolution

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient, accurate, and courteous interactions

  • Continue to develop your skills in evaluating injuries of increasing complexity

Requirements:

  • 2+ years handling commercial attorney represented bodily injury or uninsured motorist bodily injury demand claims

  • Must have commercial experience investigating and resolving coverage and liability investigations

  • Must have strong written communication skills

  • Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments

  • Must be able to speak in a clear, empathic and professional manner by telephone

  • Must be able to handle difficult conversations and stressful situations

  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Preferred:

  • Experience handling serious injuries

  • Experience handling trucking and transportation claims

  • Experience handling high limits & high exposure claims
