Role SummaryWe are seeking a CNC Machinist II to program, set up, and run 3-5 Axis Mills and 2-axis Lathes using Fusion CAD/CAM software. Responsibilities- Review manufacturing tickets to determine material, tooling, and fixturing requirements
- Prioritize machining requests to meet deadlines and maximize machine uptime
- Collaborate with engineers to provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback and modify CAD designs
- Efficiently summarize part requirements, apply roughing toolpaths, and manage machine cycle times while processing finishing toolpaths
- Program parts using Fusion 360 CAM Software
- Operate Haas mill and lathe (VF4 with Trunnion, TL-2)
- Understand speeds/feeds, depth of cuts and all other tool cutting parameters for Aluminum and Steel
- Perform inspection tasks to ensure part conforms to required critical dimensions and specifications utilizing GD&T and engineering drawing reading abilities, using standard measurement equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, gauge pins, height gauges)
- Machine maintenance including monitor filters, oil and grease levels, machine calibration and adjustment
QualificationsMust-Haves
- Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating 3- to 5-axis CNC Mills and Lathes with Haas Controls
- Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360) to modify designs and create toolpaths
- Skill in reading engineering drawings, understanding GD&T, and inspecting parts to tight tolerances
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and diverse materials
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Certificate in Machining Technology, CNC Programming, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a CNC machining environment.
- Experience with reviewing G-code to troubleshoot or verify toolpaths.
Pay DisclosureThe Hourly Pay Range for this role is $37.17 - $41.30 for California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.
