Full Job Description
SAIC is seeking Cloud Integration Engineer to support SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

As a Cloud Integration Engineer, you will shape how SIGINT data is hosted, processed, and delivered across the modern Ground Enterprise. You'll evaluate and evolve mission-driven architectures spanning hybrid-cloud environments, Kubernetes-based services, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and data-centric engineering approaches. Your work will guide Government leadership through key technical and acquisition decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise priorities.

You will drive cloud modernization efforts, provide unbiased technical assessments, support integration of mission-critical hosting and processing capabilities, and help accelerate the adoption of containerized services and automated delivery pipelines. This role requires close collaboration with system engineers, mission partners, and acquisition teams-translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable recommendations that support enterprise planning and long-term modernization.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Perform technical analysis using modern architectural best practices, FOSS, and COTS to achieve cloud-agnostic solutions. Evaluate hybrid-cloud components, on-prem capacity, resiliency, and system readiness to support evolving mission and acquisition needs.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for SIGINT ground mission capabilities, focusing on architectures that enable hosting and operations of command-and-control, mission management, and mission processing systems.
  • Assist the Government in identifying mission needs, developing CONOPS, assessing baseline changes, and shaping requirements that influence current and future ground hosting, service design, development, operations, and acquisition activities.
  • Support the onboarding, transition, and integration of new systems into operations. Work directly with mission customers and site personnel to ensure new capabilities are effectively leveraged to meet mission objectives.
  • Evaluate integration activities in the context of technical, resource, and schedule dependencies. Present unbiased, analysis-based findings and recommendations to Government managers.
  • Provide objective technical evaluation of project reviews, milestones, and decision gates. Identify risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigations while representing the Government's technical interests.
  • Support Government requests for systems engineering studies, integration assessments, process design, and project management evaluations. Deliver actionable analysis and follow through on accepted recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development or assessment of CONOPS, requirements documents, test plans, SOWs, systems engineering plans, and other Government staff work (e.g., action items, weekly reports, senior-leadership briefings, acquisition artifacts, and source-selection materials).

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active and current Top Secret/SCI with Poly.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with modern hybrid and cloud-based architectures with working knowledge in the areas of:
  • Experience with Cybersecurity, Cloud engineering, and System Engineering:
  • SIGINT Ground Experience
  • Mission Readiness Knowledge
  • Self-starter able to anticipate needs, work independently, and define solutions for broad or abstract technical topics.
  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal judgment.
  • Confident interacting with senior Government and contractor personnel; effective collaborator and consensus builder across diverse teams.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
