Full Job Description
CWE, an Apex Company, is currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager (PE) to join our team in Roseville, California. This role leads design engineers across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency while working closely with the Director of Engineering to deliver successful outcomes.

This role is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing plans.
  • Lead design efforts for grading, drainage, utilities, and site development.
  • Prepare and review plans, specifications, calculations, and technical reports for the construction of grading, drainage, water, storm drain, sewer line, street, and other improvements for public works/private development projects using Civil 3D and other associated design software.
  • Coordinate with clients, agencies, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Oversee permitting, entitlements, and regulatory approvals.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and timelines.
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical staff.
  • Support construction activities including submittal review, RFIs, and field issue resolution.
  • Manage engineering projects while providing hands on design oversight and technical direction.
  • Responsible for QA/QC efforts and serves as Engineer of Record, reviewing, approving and signing plans.

Required Competencies and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience
  • California PE License.
  • Excellent knowledge of design software such as Civil 3D or similar.
  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
  • Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Problem-solver who can think both creatively and technically.
