What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation)
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial management role in the skilled nursing industry
- Strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with mid to large size SNF company
What the Role Entails:- Oversee financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue growth
- Lead financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance evaluation to drive informed decision-making
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and stakeholders
- Manage the year-end audit process and ensure timely completion
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals
