Chief Executive Officer

Kansas Chamber of Commerce – Topeka, KS

The Kansas Chamber of Commerce is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Chief Executive Officer to lead the state’s premier business-advocacy organization. Representing more than 2,000 employers and guided by a 50+ member Board of Directors, the Chamber plays a central role in shaping Kansas’ business climate, competitiveness, and economic future.

Since 1924, the Chamber has championed free enterprise, promoted pro-business legislation, and built statewide partnerships through programs such as Leadership Kansas, sector councils, public-policy advocacy, and an active PAC.

Role Overview

The CEO will serve as the Chamber’s primary leader, strategist, and spokesperson. This individual will guide statewide policy, strengthen relationships with elected officials and business leaders, elevate member value, and ensure strong organizational performance. The role requires a visible and influential leader who can credibly represent Kansas businesses across industries and regions.
