Role and ResponsibilitiesOur Federal Government client requires a Change Management Advisor to Assist in one of their biggest Change projects in coming years.
Change management activities could include (but is not limited to) the following:
- Providing change advisory services to leaders, project teams and members of the Strategic Change team
- Ensuring complete stakeholder impact assessments are in place with a primary focus on the internal teams
- Helping the business to articulate the people and process impacts of the change (from-to statements and future state visions)
- Ensuring change management approaches are designed and implemented in alignment with the change methodology and with appropriate enterprise consideration
- Supporting the alignment of senior leaders for effective sponsorship of enterprise transformations as required
- Coaching and supporting leaders at all levels on their role as sponsors and change champions
- Identifying expected change outcomes for future benefits realization
- Communications and engagement planning and delivery in alignment with overall change agenda
- Supporting the identification of learning needs and collaborating (if required) on learning deliverables for internal teams
- Identifying, mitigating and escalating (as appropriate) change risks, issues and barriers
- Ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of the change approach and adjustment as needed
- Ability to work across multiple product dimensions and various distribution channels
- Right size the response to the level of change - many incremental changes - the scale and scope to be determined
Top Skills Required:
- Over 7 years experience in Project Mangement or Change mangment
- Experience in supporting senior executives in strategy development, decision-making, understanding client needs, and building strong relationships - this focus will largely take direction from the PM and cross-functional team of product and channel stakeholders
- Consults with clients at all levels on projects to assess the level and impact of change and define a process for managing it
- Designs detailed plans for each change project to document process, sponsor/stakeholder roles, outputs, and target dates
