Description

Responsible for using diagnostic medical equipment to assist with the diagnosis of various cardiac conditions, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and proficiency with appropriate clinical protocols.

Full Time (40hrs) - Day Shift

Weekend Rotation is Required

Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
  2. License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required . BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required .
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

The pay range for this position is $40.06 to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
