Summary: MaineHealth Obstetrics and Gynecology is highly recognized for the level of patient care that is provided to patients across the state of Maine and Southern New Hampshire. Our state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment allows up to produce high-quality diagnostic images. We pride ourselves for being AIUM accredited in several area to include Obstetric (first, second and third trimester), detailed fetal anatomical survey, fetal echocardiographer and GYN to include 3D imaging. With our extensive knowledge and academic interest in the field we continue to be a teaching facility for the surrounding ultrasound programs as well as the residency pogrom at Maine Medical Center Portland. Training and education will be provided with a requirement of becoming Fetal Echo certified. The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer I performs routine ultrasound procedures under supervision. Follows established protocols. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience 2. License/Certifications: Current American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required. Must have completed the required Physics registry. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. 3. Experience: No experience necessary; six months of Diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred. 4. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.
