Reports to: Sr. Business Line Manager

We are looking for an energetic, motivated Business Line Manager to own and grow our software product line. This role is critical to ViewSonic's success in the software and interactive display markets. You will have meaningful ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to shape product direction in categories that are central to our Education and ProAV strategy.

Your Role and Impact

The Business Line Manager will own ViewSonic's software ecosystem for Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) solutions. This role is responsible for product strategy, software roadmap planning, lifecycle management, and driving adoption and market success of solutions that enhance the user experience.

Working closely with software development teams, Product Leadership, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and partners, this individual will gather customer and market feedback, prioritize business requirements, and help shape the software portfolio to align with customer needs and goals.

The Business Line Manager serves as the primary owner of software portfolio performance, user adoption, market positioning, monetization strategy, and lifecycle decisions across assigned applications.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Planning

  • Own the lifecycle management of ViewSonic's software applications and digital solutions integrated with Interactive Flat Panels, including product strategy, roadmap planning, launches, enhancements, migrations, and end-of-life decisions.
  • Define the product vision, roadmap, and strategic priorities for assigned software applications using customer insights, market intelligence, performance data, and organizational objectives.
  • Serve as the business owner for assigned software applications, ensuring alignment between customer needs, business goals, and long-term portfolio investments.
  • Monitor product performance and partner with leadership to establish business objectives, success metrics, pricing and monetization strategies, and long-term investment priorities for the software portfolio.


Customer, Sales & Market Engagement

  • Serve as the product champion and subject matter expert for assigned software applications, representing the product portfolio across internal teams, customers, channel partners, and industry events.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, usage trends, and stakeholder insights to identify product opportunities, inform strategic decisions, and prioritize future enhancements.
  • Present product roadmaps, releases, enhancement priorities, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders while supporting customer discussions related to software functionality, integrations, deployment considerations, and future product direction.


Cross-Functional Execution, Communication & Enablement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and global software development teams, translating business requirements into actionable initiatives while participating in roadmap planning, sprint reviews, release planning, and product readiness activities.
  • Lead cross-functional product launches and release activities, partnering with Marketing, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Support teams to develop positioning, training materials, user documentation, release communications, and customer enablement resources.
  • Partner with Support and Customer Success teams to evaluate product issues, enhancement requests, and adoption trends, ensuring improvements are incorporated into future releases and lifecycle planning.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in software, hardware product management, and UI/UX or a related role with responsibility for product strategy, roadmap ownership, customer adoption, and lifecycle management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing software products throughout the full product lifecycle, including defining requirements, prioritizing enhancements, driving roadmap execution, and
  • Strong understanding of software ecosystems, cloud applications, SaaS platforms, and device-integrated solutions. Experience with collaboration technology, education technology, workplace technology, or device management platforms is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate adoption metrics, usage data, customer feedback, market trends, and business performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams across a global organization.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable collaborating regularly with Asia-based teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Environment: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days remote
  • Travel: Up to 25% travel, mostly to attend major trade shows with occasional customer visits
  • Physical Effort: Work requires infrequent physical demands
