What You'll Do- Drive new business growth by developing and cultivating relationships with prospective clients, referral sources, and industry partners across the MedTech and clinical research markets.
- Lead opportunities from initial engagement through close, ensuring a consultative, client-focused approach and a consistent, disciplined sales process.
- Own and optimize Bright's business development processes and infrastructure, including CRM management, pipeline tracking, forecasting, reporting, and proposal coordination.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to identify client needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver compelling proposals and value-driven client experiences.
- Represent Bright at client meetings, industry conferences, networking events, and other business development activities to expand market presence and generate opportunities.
- Analyze pipeline performance, market trends, competitive activity, emerging technologies, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities, inform business development priorities, and improve commercial effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement of business development processes, tools, and workflows to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (5-8 years), with a background in business development, sales, client engagement, clinical research, or related commercial roles within MedTech, CRO, biotechnology, or life sciences.
- Proven success in business development, sales, client engagement, or clinical research within the MedTech, CRO, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders from technical experts and physician KOLs to executive decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of the medical device, clinical research, and broader MedTech ecosystem, with medical device and/or CRO experience preferred.
- Experience managing business development pipelines, proposals, and CRM systems, coupled with strong organizational skills, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
