Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with strong Murex expertise to lead business and functional analysis for capital markets and treasury initiatives.

This role will act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project delivery teams to define requirements, assess impacts, support solution design, and drive successful implementation of Murex capabilities across front office, risk, operations, and finance functions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the Murex platform, strong Money Market/ Treasury domain expertise, and a proven track record of leading requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing, process improvements, and business adoption in complex financial services environments.

  • Lead business analysis activities for Murex-related initiatives, including platform implementation, enhancement, migration, optimization, or regulatory change programs.
  • Engage with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Technology to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, configuration documents, process flows, and test scenarios.
  • Perform current-state assessments, gap analysis, impact analysis, and future-state recommendations aligned with business objectives and Murex best practices.
  • Support solution design and configuration across relevant Murex modules such as trade capture, pricing, market data, simulations, risk, operations, reporting, and interfaces.
  • Partner with technical teams, architects, and vendors to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and integrated with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Leading SIT, UAT, coordinating regression testing, defect triage, reconciliation, and validation of business outcomes.
  • Support data mapping, data migration, reconciliation, and reporting validation as part of implementation or change initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements and recommend opportunities to streamline workflows, improve controls, and increase business efficiency using Murex capabilities.
  • Provide guidance to business users and peers on Murex functionality, operating procedures, and adoption of new processes or enhancements.
  • Track issues, dependencies, risks, and decisions, and provide status updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Mentor peers and promote high standards for analysis, documentation, testing, and stakeholder engagement.

Core (Mandatory) Skills

  • 7+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting Capital Markets, Treasury, or Financial Markets initiatives.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with the Murex platform across one or more functional areas.
  • Strong Treasury and Money Market product knowledge
  • Proven experience leading to requirements gathering, business process analysis, impact assessments, and solution design for complex technology initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle processes and associated operational workflows.
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience executing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test cases and regression test suites, with the ability to analyze results, remediate defects, and support SIT, UAT, and release validation activities.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, and vendor teams.

Nice to Have skill - Knowledge of Fixed Income, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, and Capital Markets products.
