Full Job Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Business Analyst to lead the definition and delivery of HR data capabilities that enable trusted workforce insights, scalable data products, and AI-supported decision making across Human Resources and the broader business.

In the Human Capital Management division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools they need to succeed. This is a Director level position within HR Data & Intelligence, which helps the firm make better workforce decisions by turning data into trusted insight and delivering the reporting, platforms and AI-supported capabilities that support people operations and self-service access to workforce insight across HR and the business.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and user stories to support HR data platform enhancements.

  • Analyze HR data across systems to identify gaps, validate outputs, and support integration with downstream consumers.

  • Partner with HR, Technology, and testing teams to define test scenarios, validate results, and support end-to-end testing activities.

  • Investigate and resolve data issues by performing root cause analysis and coordinating remediation with Technology teams.

  • Assess downstream data requirements and conduct impact analysis to support platform changes and releases.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday reports (standard and custom) to support operational, analytical, and reconciliation needs.

  • Utilize basic to intermediate MongoDB query skills to analyze data discrepancies, validate records, and support triage activities in downstream data platforms.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Experience working with HR data, HRIS/HCM systems (primarily Workday), or data platforms in a business analysis, data analysis, or product support capacity.

  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and data-related specifications.

  • Working knowledge of HR systems and enterprise environments, including how data flows across integrated platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday report writing and reporting solutions.

  • Experience supporting RESTful API integrations and validating data exchanges.

  • Strong analytical skills, including experience working with large datasets to identify issues and validate outputs.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage priorities in a delivery-focused environment.

  • At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

All our positions are located in Montreal, Quebec. We offer a hybrid work environment, combining remote work and attendance in the office.

Knowledge of French and English is required.
