Responsibilities

  • Provide direct monitoring, assessment, and staff training on implementation of behavioral support plans.
  • Document all behavioral services to meet billing criteria.
  • Maintain systems for collecting objective data on client skills and needs.
  • Advocate for individuals served and collaborate with other therapists on special projects.

Description

We are seeking a full time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavior supports in our adult residential programs. This position offers hands on engagement with individuals and staff outside of a typical clinical setting. We provide thorough training, a team environment, great challenges, and even greater fulfillment as you help individuals reach and expand their potential. The ideal candidate must be able to react well under pressure and be able to communicate effectively.

  • Provide direct monitoring, assessment, intervention, and applied staff training on implementation of individual behavioral support plans.
  • Ensure that all behavioral services are documented and meet all criteria for billing.
  • Maintain system for collecting objective data regarding the skills and needs of clients served.
  • Maintain system for collecting program specific information and quality outcome data.
  • Attend individual psychiatric appointments and inpatient psychiatric discharge meetings.
  • Serve as a voice and advocate for individuals served.
  • Collaborate with other therapists to develop ideas for special projects and work as a team to develop and implement those ideas.
  • Attend all agency, departmental and client specific meetings as directed.
  • Participate in on-going professional training.
  • Must report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation to supervisor or department head.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.

Qualifications:
