Role Descriptions & Responsibilities

BIOVIA is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and innovation for our Laboratory Informatics portfolio. This role is ideal for a product leader with deep expertise in laboratory informatics and the bioprocess domain who is passionate about enabling the next generation of digital laboratories through cloud technologies, AI, machine learning, and laboratory automation.

You will define the product vision and roadmap for key Laboratory Informatics capabilities, balancing the needs of existing customers with long-term platform innovation. Working closely with customers, R&D, UX, engineering, marketing, and fellow Product Managers, you will shape solutions that empower scientists with connected, intelligent laboratory workflows across the BIOVIA and Dassault Systèmes ecosystem.

Customer engagement is central to this role. You will regularly collaborate with scientists and laboratory leaders to understand emerging challenges, validate product direction, and ensure our solutions continue to deliver exceptional value to research organizations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Define and prioritize necessary features to remain a class-leader in the Laboratory Informatics space.
• Host customer workshops to understand pain-points and key features for BIOVIA Laboratory software
• Work closely with User Experience experts to ensure all requirements are correctly understood
• Work with other BIOVIA Product Managers and Industry Process Experience Product Managers to produce a unified roadmap that delivers complete, cross-product coordinated workflows for various scientific domains
• Work effectively with software developers and quality assurance engineers to ensure delivery against agreed priorities
• Interact directly with customers at a scientific and technical level during product demonstrations
• Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
• Work closely with other product teams both within and without BIOVIA to define and develop deep integration between BIOVIA Laboratory and other BIOVIA/Dassault products
• Develop go-to-market plans that include marketing programs, positioning, packaging, and pricing

Qualifications
  • PhD, MS, or equivalent in the natural sciences
  • Prior experience in the Laboratory Informatics realm
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and partnering skills with deep knowledge of at least one of the following scientific domains: bioengineering, bioprocess or biology
  • Experience using BIOVIA products or similar in the field
  • Deep knowledge Fair principles, CFR Part 11 Compliance and Product Validation
  • Experience with web-based, multi-tenant Cloud products
  • Possess strong influencing skills and have demonstrated ability to collaborate to implement change and transform a strategy into tactics for implementation
  • Creative problem-solver who has a deep understanding of the scientific processes used in the life sciences

Compensation & Benefits

Dassault Systèmes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience. Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $125000 and $150000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
