Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience in high-impact consumer features at startups or high-growth companies.
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of projects, including product thinking.
• Proficiency in Python/Django, PostgreSQL, Angular/Ionic, and TypeScript.
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
• Familiarity with mobile and social consumer applications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of iOS/Android app features from research to launch and measurement.
• Ship full-stack features using Python/Django, PostgreSQL, and Angular/Ionic to millions of users.
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and CEO on strategies for growth, engagement, and retention without the involvement of project managers.
• Lead initiatives in search, recommendations, partnerships, and content sharing, including integrations with services like Tinder.
• Mentor junior engineers as the team expands from 3 to over 7, conduct A/B tests, and engage with users for feedback.
