• Perform destructive physical analysis (DPA) and workflow optimization: perform cell disassembly, improvement of R&D workflow, identification of failure root cause, and documenting of data and observation.
• Identification, escalation, and resolution of cell manufacturing quality issues - working closely with FA, Manufacturing, and Quality engineers
• Monitor cell quality with routine DPA, root cause any issues, and implement countermeasures and corrective actions.
• Battery characterization: perform failure analysis techniques such as photo documentation, optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, computed tomography (CT) scan, etc.
• Inventory management: maintain inventory accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
• Supporting FA team: Communicate and cooperate with engineers and colleagues.
• Laboratory upkeep: keep a clean and safe workspace and optimize process efficiencies.
