The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an AWS Solution Architect to design, implement, and support cloud-based solutions for Government and CACI customers.
Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and architect innovative, scalable AWS cloud solutions. Support migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS, ensuring security and compliance standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that leverage AWS services and best practices.
Must be within commuting distance to Washington Navy Yard (WNY) in Washington, D.C or to Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in Portsmouth, VA. Work site is primarily at the employee’s home site; however, the employee will occasionally need to work at the customer site or a CACI office.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AWS cloud architectures, including infrastructure as code, network design, and security controls.
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
- Support customers with cloud migration, application modernization, and troubleshooting AWS environments.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on AWS best practices and cloud adoption strategies.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and submission of supporting data and metrics to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.
- Other duties as assigned in support of contract taskings and mission success.
Qualifications:
- Must be a United States Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance prior to start and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in cloud architecture and AWS services.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Proficiency with AWS and related cloud technologies.
- Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.
- Outstanding organizational skills to efficiently manage competing priorities, multiple concurrent taskings, and firm deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
Desired:
- Active DOD Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Information Technology or Computer Science field.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and integration with on-premises systems.
- Work experience with the Naval Maintenance Community, United States Navy, or the Department of Defense.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100-$172,400
