Job Summary
We are seeking an AWS CDK / Terraform Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for automating cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployments. The role focuses on building scalable AWS infrastructure, implementing data engineering and serverless architectures, managing containerized applications, and supporting cloud deployments across AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS CDK, CDK for Terraform (CDKTF), Terraform, cloud security, and CI/CD automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), CDK for Terraform (CDKTF), and Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure components using AWS CDK, including Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon MWAA (Airflow), API Gateway, ECS, Application Load Balancer (ALB), DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Develop reusable, modular, and scalable infrastructure constructs using AWS CDK to standardize cloud deployments across multiple environments.
• Implement and manage data engineering infrastructure on AWS using services such as Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and Airflow to support data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and analytics workloads.
• Design and deploy serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
• Provision and manage containerized application infrastructure using Amazon ECS, Application Load Balancers, and related AWS networking services.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure modules using Terraform and CDKTF for consistent, repeatable, and automated infrastructure deployments.
• Work with Terraform Fabric and Azure deployments to provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure environments.
• Implement infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and release processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure configurations across development, QA, staging, and production environments while ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM roles and policies, encryption, secrets management, network security, and access controls.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and optimize cloud resources for scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers, cloud architects, data engineers, and application development teams to translate technical requirements into automated infrastructure solutions.
