Target Range:
$115,000.00 /Yr. - $130,000.00 /Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job
The Consumer IT Staff Operations Manager is a key strategic partner and right hand to the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development, responsible for streamlining operations, aligning departmental operations, driving critical initiatives, and facilitating effective decision-making across departments. This role combines strategic planning, program management, internal communications, and operational excellence to ensure the Consumer IT department runs efficiently. This individual serves as a force multiplier for the leadership team, ensuring the organization operates efficiently, stays aligned with strategic priorities, and maintains a culture of accountability and excellence.
This position is on-site and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development in developing and executing strategic plans
- Coordinate and track progress of strategic initiatives across departments
- Prepare briefings, dashboards, and reports for executive decision-making
- Executive Support & Communication
- Act as a liaison between the SVP, Head of Consumer Bank Development and internal/external stakeholders
- Draft and review communications, presentations, and reports
- Operational Oversight
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in organizational processes
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure timely delivery of outcomes
- Oversee internal communications and promote interdepartmental collaboration
- Budget & Resource Management
- Support annual IT budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning efforts.
- Monitor departmental spending and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Leadership & Culture
- Serve as a sounding board and thought partner to the Consumer IT leadership team
- Champion company values and help shape organizational culture
- Facilitate leadership team meetings and planning sessions
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure Consumer IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks are maintained
- Drive risk management and compliance initiatives, including audit readiness and data privacy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, operations, strategy, or executive support roles
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a proactive mindset
- Experience in a startup, high-growth, or mission-driven environment is preferred
- Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority is preferred
