  • Identify capability gaps across store systems and define practical future-state solutions that support inventory visibility, scalability, international growth, and changing customer behaviors.
  • Partner with Digital and eCommerce to improve end-to-end omnichannel journeys, including BOPIS, ship-from-store, RFID-enabled workflows, and customer-facing store capabilities.
  • Support long-term infrastructure planning for new store concepts.

Policy & Operational Standards
  • Build and evolve policies, procedures, and store routines that connect technology functionality to clear field execution.
  • Establish governance for system enhancements and process changes to ensure consistency across markets while allowing for necessary local adaptations.
  • Translate system updates and platform enhancements into clear operational standards, documentation, and field-facing communications.
  • Partner with Field Leadership to ensure policies are actionable, scalable, and supportive of efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Execution
  • Serve as a key business partner to Retail Technology and Engineering, translating store needs into structured business requirements, testing plans, and rollout considerations.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment sessions to define scope, sequencing, testing, and rollout strategy.
  • Partner with International teams to balance global platform consistency with localized market needs.
  • Partner with Inventory Control to improve inventory discipline, adoption, and consistency across store processes.

Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Define KPIs and use performance data to identify improvement opportunities across customer experience, conversion, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and platform adoption.
  • Identify systemic friction points and drive structured enhancements to improve platform reliability, usability, and adoption.
  • Ensure system and policy updates are supported by clear change management, field communication, and adoption tracking.
