Full Job Description
A Snapshot of Your Day
In alignment with business continuity objectives within the GT Auxiliaries US division, this role delivers critical engineering support for in-service gas turbine auxiliary systems across the Americas and Middle East regions. Operating at a specialist professional level, the position ensures reliability, operational readiness, and continuous performance of vital power plant assets. To address these operational demands, the role focuses on three core areas: control system design and simulation using the T3K platform, rapid troubleshooting of field issues, and Customer Order Engineering (COE) for service products. These areas directly enable quick resolution of technical challenges and successful implementation of turbine upgrades. Given this specialized focus, the ideal candidate must possess a strong background in instrumentation and control (I&C) engineering, extensive experience with gas turbine auxiliary systems, and proven proficiency in Siemens' control philosophies.
How You'll Make an Impact
Design, configure, and set up simulations for T3K control systems to validate auxiliary system behaviors.
Interpret and update piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), electrical schematics, and complex control logic diagrams.
Develop and implement control philosophies for gas turbine auxiliary systems including fuel gas, fuel oil, and lube oil systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex operational and PCM issues on active gas turbine auxiliaries to ensure business continuity.
Perform high-level combustion tuning activities and support Balance of Plant (BOP) process control operations. Provide on-site or remote commissioning support for gas turbine auxiliary components and control system upgrades.
Execute Customer Order Engineering (COE) tasks, including implementation planning, product validation, and design documentation. Collaborate directly with global customers and internal stakeholders to communicate technical solutions and project status
