We are seeking an Associate Technical Specialist to join our collaborative team. Our team delivers technology infrastructure services worldwide, and this role helps provide reliable, high-quality support for live events, meetings, and audiovisual environments.
The successful candidate will bring a strong technical background and hands-on experience in audio and video production, including scheduling, equipment setup, and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment. The role also requires strong knowledge of systems, platforms, services, hardware, software, and technologies related to sound and visual production.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the production of virtual and onsite live streams and events.
- Monitor complex, high-visibility meetings to help ensure a reliable participant experience.
- Respond to critical issues requiring high-priority meeting support.
- Resolve meeting scheduling and room reservation issues.
- Assist with testing virtual meeting and audiovisual equipment during new room installations and relocations.
- Respond to support requests received through the ticketing system, email, and SMS alerts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to conference setup and audiovisual equipment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new meeting technology and audiovisual initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Specialist in information systems, television, broadcasting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in technical support or technical customer service.
- Demonstrated experience implementing, administering, and supporting audiovisual and broadcast technologies.
- Familiarity with video-conferencing hardware and software and related technologies.
- Experience with video recording and streaming solutions, video and audio editing, and production.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills, with the ability to support a range of users and meeting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of networking and video/VoIP protocols and their implementation.
- Experience with resolving systemic and end-user issues in a VoIP/video network in a customer-facing environment.

Salary range is expected to be between
$62,850.00 CAD - $104,750.00 CAD
