Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Aksia is seeking an associate to join our Pan-Alternatives team. The Pan-Alternatives team at Aksia is responsible for developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with a variety of sophisticated investors, by bringing together the resources of the firm for the benefit of each client. The team not only works with existing clients on the development and implementation of their alternative investment portfolios but is also the central point for the marketing and business development efforts of the firm's various business lines.

This position is based in Aksia's New York or San Diego office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues, clients, and prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with client meeting preparation for both existing and prospective clients, including presentations and other ad-hoc projects
  • Developing knowledge and expertise of new managers, strategies and investment opportunities to help clients meet their specific objectives
  • Tracking, coordinating and completing ongoing client deliverables
  • Liaising with internal teams to complete ad-hoc client projects
  • Supporting senior colleagues with marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining and developing firm marketing materials
  • Developing a robust network of prospective clients in a given area of focus

Qualifications:

The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Aksia provides a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor.
