About the Role

We are hiring a data-driven and entrepreneurial Associate Manager, International New Verticals Strategy & Operations to lead strategy, experimentation, and go-to-market execution for fulfillment cost and profitability initiatives.

Your primary focus will be initiatives that improve costs and variable profit and the long-term economics of our New Verticals businesses. This may include dasher and operational efficiency, pricing accuracy, and other product or platform investments.

You will own initiatives across the full product lifecycle: defining the problem, sizing the opportunity, developing and executing solutions, and measuring results after rollout.

Develop strategy. Use insights, market context, data analysis, and financial modeling to identify and prioritize opportunities that improve the unit economics of our international New Verticals businesses.Lead experimentation. Design and execute pilots and experiments, partnering with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Finance and Accounting to develop robust cost / profitability problem statements, define success criteria, and translate findings into product and operations recommendations.Own end-to-end execution. Lead initiatives from initial planning through rollout, including defining the target audience, positioning, market readiness, operating changes, communications, training, dependencies, and launch timelinesAnalyze performance and influence decisions. Build SQL-based reporting and analytical frameworks to evaluate opportunities, measure performance, and inform investment and prioritization decisions.
  • Lead, collaborate and Influence. Partner with and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, finance, product, analytics and engineering to launch initiatives to the finish line.

  • You are analytically strong and comfortable working with large datasets, building financial models, and using SQL to answer business questions.
  • You are an excellent written and verbal communicator who can distill complex product and technical concepts for different audiences.
  • You are operationally rigorous and able to manage launch timelines, dependencies, risks, and market readiness across multiple workstreams.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree.


Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within British Columbia.

$116,000-$145,000 CAD
