- Lead small teams of Analysts in research and analysis that define our strategic recommendations
- Work closely with Engagement Managers to guide teams through projects such as (but not limited to)
- Organization Transformation
- Private Equity Due Diligence
- Strategic Development/Implementation
- Market Research & Assessments
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and implement original, creative solutions
- Manage diverse and impactful internal initiatives
While there is no single educational or professional background that best prepares you for a fulfilling career at MGT, we typically look for the following qualifications:
- Advanced graduate degree (MBA, PhD, MPA, etc.) preferred, but not required; undergraduate degree required
- Excellent academic record and grade point average
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- 3+ years of experience in management/strategy consulting, non-profits, think tanks, startups, financial services, or similar environments
- Ability to think independently and meaningfully collaborate with teams
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in English, both verbally and in writing (additional languages are always welcome and appreciated)
- Effective organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Exceptional ambition and leadership skills in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings
