  • Implement and enhance control frameworks to mitigate operational risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce operational risk and improve scalability.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators, trade exceptions, and operational performance metrics to senior management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for middle office processes during audits, regulatory reviews, and system upgrades.

Middle Office Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee middle office operations supporting trading desks across equity, fixed income and derivatives products.
  • Partner with both internal and external stakeholders for Periodic NAV and P&L Review
  • Ensure trade capture accuracy, lifecycle event monitoring, and timely settlement of trades.
  • Implement and enhance control frameworks to mitigate operational risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with front office, risk, and back office teams to resolve trade discrepancies and optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to reduce operational risk and improve scalability.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators, trade exceptions, and operational performance metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal policies for trade support and collateral management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for middle office processes during audits, regulatory reviews, and system upgrades.

Salary ranges from CAD $80,000.00 - CAD $90,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
