Full Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure the timely and accurate reporting, reconciliation, and remittance of loan servicing activity to investors and agencies, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and private investors.
  • Monitor and reconcile custodial accounts, researching and resolving variances, exceptions, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with investor requirements, agency guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Review, analyze, and validate investor reporting data, recommending corrective actions and improvements to enhance accuracy and data quality.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including Accounting, Servicing, Audit, Technology, and investors, to resolve reporting issues and support business objectives.
  • Lead, train, and provide operational guidance to Investor Reporting staff, supporting team performance, development, and departmental initiatives.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting results and identifying risks to ensure reporting deadlines and service levels are achieved.
  • Prepare and present investor reporting metrics, performance results, and operational updates to management and investors.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements, best practices, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, controls, and productivity.
  • Maintain and enhance investor reporting procedures by incorporating quality assurance findings, industry developments, regulatory changes, and other duties as assigned.


Required Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of investor and agency reporting requirements and guidelines, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Servicer Compliance and USAP.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to advise management and liaise between loan operations, Internal Audit and Risk Management.
  • Understand Internal Control concepts to advise management on issues.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in investor reporting, mortgage servicing, financial analysis, or a related financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience applying agency guidelines and private investor requirements.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience leading process improvement, automation, reporting enhancement, audit, or regulatory initiatives within a mortgage servicing environment.
