Position Summary...What you'll do...As an Assistant General Manager at Walmart's E-commerce Fulfillment Center, you will play a critical leadership role in launching and operating a state-of-the-art facility that delivers for millions of customers. You will partner with the General Manager to build a high-performing operation from the ground up, driving safety, quality, productivity, and associate engagement while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll DoLead Facility Operations- Support the successful launch and stabilization of a new fulfillment center, ensuring operational readiness and execution of key milestones.
- Drive daily operations across multiple functional areas, including fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and customer order processing.
- Execute business plans that achieve productivity, quality, service, and safety goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Build and Develop High-Performing Teams- Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a diverse team of leaders and associates.

- Review operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business results.
- Balance short-term execution with long-term strategic goals.
Build Strong Partnerships- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and business partners to achieve operational objectives.
- Serve as a facility ambassador by supporting Walmart-sponsored initiatives and engaging with local community organizations and events.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 2 years experience in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide OR 2 years experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager including supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 4 years experience in a senior management role in an operations/distribution/logistics /retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees facility-wide.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
