As an Area Manager, you'll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations.

Motivate and train a team of stylists and leaders at our award winning salons! As an Area Manager, you will hire and train new employees for open positions in your 2-3 assigned salons. Lead your teams to success by staying organized, delivering our steps to customer care and refining operations while working some hours behind the chair. Earn up to $88K yearly. What you bring to the team To succeed as an Area Manager in a Great Clips salon organization, you'll need:
- Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- The desire and ability to manage a salon's daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans
- Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area
- Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
