As an Area Manager, you'll directly manage one salon while also supporting and coaching a team of Salon Managers across a small group of additional locations.
This role is ideal for an experienced salon or multi-unit leader who enjoys developing managers, maintaining strong brand standards, and driving consistent performance across teams.
As an Area Manager, you will develop your leadership team in 2-4 assigned salons. Lead your teams to success by staying organized, delivering our steps to customer care, refine operations, celebrate together and work some hours behind the chair and other hours enhancing the salons. What you bring to the team To succeed as an Area Manager in a Great Clips salon organization, you'll need:
- Previous salon management experience or multi-unit retail management experience
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- The desire and ability to manage a salon's daily operations while motivating and supporting other Salon Managers
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience identifying performance gaps and implementing improvement plans
- Flexibility to work across multiple salon locations within the surrounding area
- Commitment to collaboration and accountability with a focus on proactively seeking solutions to challenges
