The Applications Developer plays a key role bridging business needs and technical implementation in a manufacturing business applications and knowlege-work environment. You'll analyze, map, and optimize end-to-end processes - translating business requirements into working code. If you enjoy the ownership of collaborating across functions, identifying and documenting assumptions with respect and humility, prioritizing business feedback in your roadmap, and building, testing, and supporting the solutions you design, this role was made for you.
Hours: Full-time | In-office | Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities:- Model a culture of humbly serving the needs of others, as the daily practice that earns trust across every team with whom you interact.
- Develop detailed process flow diagrams and documentation for current and future state workflows, using Lean principles to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with SMEs across manufacturing, purchasing, scheduling, sales, and accounting to gather functional requirements - facilitating honest conversations that surface assumptions, broaden perspectives, and align teams around shared goals.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications, then execute - designing and developing solutions using Python (or related), web frameworks, and automation tools.
- Test, deploy, and maintain solutions to sound standards; measure post-implementation performance and identify the next round of improvements.
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. CI certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM) are a plus.
- 3+ years in software development.
- Strong Python development skills and working knowledge of web technologies (Flask, Django, HTML/CSS/JS).
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong communication skills - willingness and ability to sit with business users, engineers, and leadership and adjust language accordingly.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits:- Salary $92,000-120,000 DOE
