Qualifications

• NP must be a graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program with national certification.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program with NCCPA certification.
• Preferably 2+ years of advanced practice experience in Cardiology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary, with the ability to exercise initiative and discretion.
• Required: clean background, North Carolina licensure, NC DEA, and AHA BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.
• Conduct new consults and supervise stress tests in inpatient settings.
• Perform follow-up visits and facilitate early patient discharges.
• Manage new patient clinic visits and follow-up consultations in outpatient settings.
• Complete timely administrative tasks utilizing Epic EMR.
