Qualifications

• NJ School Transportation Supervisor Certification required.
• Class B CDL with P and S endorsements plus air brake endorsements required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Transportation Director or Supervisor in student transportation.
• In-depth knowledge of Pupil Transportation laws and Title 39 Motor Vehicle law.
• Understanding of Motor Vehicle Inspection laws and New Jersey bid laws for transportation services.
• Ability to select, train, and supervise transportation personnel.
• NJ Criminal History Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee the entire transportation operation.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation-related laws and regulations.
• Coordinate the training and supervision of transportation staff.
• Manage contracts related to student transportation services.
• Implement safety and inspection protocols for all school transportation vehicles.
