Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is hiring an Analyst, Senior to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program provides readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources. Uses collaborative, data-driven operating models that include end-to-end readiness ecosystems (operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management). AI-enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution to improve the speed, scale, and consistency of analysis and decision support. The work includes producing readiness assessments and decision-support products; establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting; and integrating data from multiple authoritative and legacy sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and, where appropriate, AI/ML techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) are used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions that balance near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions.

Location: San Diego, California

The Analyst, Senior will incorporate enterprise-wide knowledge and experience in one or more designated functional and/or concentration areas. Provides support to the customer on program/project operations. In addition, the selected candidate will:
  • Experience developing and executing successful strategic plans. Possesses demonstrated knowledge, extensive experience in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes across multiple complex tasks in multiple organizations.
  • Defines problems, analyzes and develops strategies to achieve assigned objectives. Manages the preparation of analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for implementation. Provides complex statistical modeling and analysis.
  • Evaluates existing business goals, team functionality, and cross-discipline cooperation and develops recommendations to improve internal performance, shorten throughput time, and minimize internal costs, while increasing the overall quality of work, product, or service output.
  • Implements improved systems, procedures and organizational changes.
  • Employs analysis techniques, such as work breakdown structures, activity-based costing, process and productivity improvement measurements, and program audits/evaluations and performance testing to achieve stated objectives.


Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience. Allowable substitution: Six years of additional related work experience.
  • Fifteen years of related experience and of that; six (6) years must be direct experience must be direct experience the following concentration area(s): NAAC: (1) Develops analytic products and practices that create measurable improvement for processes and decision support across Naval Aviation, (2) Provides the Enterprise with actionable and sustainable analytics products that enable data-supported decision aides, requirements and policy development, (3) Identifies and establishes data handling best practices, submits policy and/or requirements recommendations as appropriate, (4) Prioritizes gaps in analytical products to maximize readiness outcomes - achieving common goals, (5) Endorses and governs Naval Aviation analytical metrics - creating standardization, (6) Facilitates data literacy within Naval Aviation through intuitive products promoting best practices. Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, statistical methods, visualization development (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI), and /or PowerApps development highly desired.
  • Prior military experience as a Commissioned Officer and/or senior level DoW government experience (GS14-15, O5-O6) may be considered favorably.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Compensation Statement

At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $103,432.00 - $149,446.00
