The role is dedicated to Macquarie Capital Principal Finance - Private Credit. Investment opportunities span a range of private credit structures (primarily unitranche financings, as well as second lien debt, HoldCo PIK loans, and mezzanine debt or preferred equity). Team members are generalists investing across a range of industries, structures, and deal types.

Your primary responsibilities will be identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing attractive risk/return investment opportunities. Key day-to-day contributions will include:

  • Leading diligence conversations and efforts with internal teams, counterparties and external experts
  • Presenting in meetings including investment committee discussions
  • Gathering data from differentiated data sources to support investment theses with an evidence-based approach
  • Preparing critical analysis including robust financial models, quality of earnings analysis, and KPI analysis
  • Distilling information into succinct investment committee memos / external presentations


Salary range for this position: $120,000 - $210,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
