Job Title: AMOS Manager

Location: Orlando, Florida

Department: Quality Control

Reports To: Manager Quality Control

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary: The AMOS Manager is responsible for leading the AMOS team and overseeing the administration, performance, and continuous improvement of the AMOS Maintenance & Engineering system. This role partners with key stakeholders across National Airlines, which includes Line Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Materials, Records, Planning, Quality Assurance, and Finance to ensure system reliability, operational efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. The AMOS Manager reports to the Manager of Quality Control.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead and manage the AMOS team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Oversee the implementation, administration, and optimization of the AMOS Maintenance & Engineering system.
  • Manage multiple cross-functional projects involving National Airlines, Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Materials, Records, Planning, Quality, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify system enhancements and streamline operational processes.
  • Provide rapid troubleshooting and resolution of critical system issues to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain AMOS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to support system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance, prioritize support requests, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Provide leadership and support during off-shift hours for critical operational issues when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5-10 Years of Aviation Maintenance related computer system experience
  • 3-5 years of AMOS software experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, open to learning and teaching new software
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable 14 CFR and associated regulatory/governmental publications related to performance of duties of the position
  • Commitment to operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred Qualifications:
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) rating

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copy machine/ printer.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting up to 10 pounds.


Work Environment:
  • Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, light traffic).
  • Ability to work in a confined office or open cubicle environment
