AML Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AML Solution Architect with expertise in AML platforms, Snowflake, and AWS to design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions. The role will bridge business requirements and technical execution while ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and enterprise architecture objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AML technology solutions, including transaction monitoring, compliance, and risk management platforms

Collaborate with compliance and business teams to ensure alignment with AML regulatory requirements

Optimize AML workflows and enhance monitoring, detection, and reporting capabilities

Architect and manage data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions using Snowflake

Ensure data governance, security, scalability, and performance best practices within Snowflake environments

Integrate Snowflake with AML platforms and AWS services for seamless data movement and analytics

Design secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures on AWS

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform

Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and adherence to AWS architectural best practices

Partner with engineering, data, analytics, and compliance teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and mentoring to development teams

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovation opportunities

Must-Have Skills

Strong experience in Solution Architecture within Banking or Financial Services

Expertise in AML systems and Financial Crimes technology solutions

Knowledge of AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory compli ance

Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, data modeling, SQL, Snowpipe, and data integration

Strong AWS solution architecture experience

Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, and related cloud-native services

Expertise in cloud architecture, security, scalability, and performance optimization

Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation

Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks

Experience integrating enterprise applications, data platforms, and cloud solutions

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AML platforms such as Actimize, NICE Actimize, Oracle FCCM, SAS AML, or similar solutions

Knowledge of FINTRAC, FATF, KYC, and related AML regulatory frameworks

AWS Solutions Architect certification

Experience with real-time analytics and data processing solutions

Exposure to AI/ML-driven fraud detection and AML monitoring solutions

Experience mentoring architects and engineering teams

Capital Markets or Financial Crimes domain experience

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
