The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join our expanding Tampa, FL office. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity to work on a wide range of civil and aviation-related infrastructure projects, including local assignments for the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority (HCAA) and large-scale airport initiatives across the country.

Role Summary

As a Civil Engineer / Project Manager, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of planning, design, and delivery of complex projects. You'll play a key role in business development, project execution, and client relationship management-while also helping to mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of our Tampa Aviation team.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Minimum of 7 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 3 years in civil engineering project design
  • Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Demonstrated experience managing aviation or transportation infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel to client sites throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with City of Tampa (CoT), Hillsborough County, Plant City, FDOT, FAA, and local permitting agencies
  • Familiarity with civil engineering design, site development, and utility coordination
  • Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and related engineering software
